A triple-bill of electronics explorations with saxophone, double bass and trumpets.

Trumpet and electronics headline duo WOOLFENDEN mine the space between the experimental and the melodic. Drawing from the microtonal flutters of Giacinto Scelsi, the drones of Eliane Radigue, and the melodic directness of Miles Davis, the sound of WOOLFENDEN is both pastoral and industrial, futuristic and ancient.

Formed in London in 2018 WOOLFENDEN have performed at Cafe Oto, Testbed1, The Betsey Trotwood, The Agency Gallery, The Garage (Norwich) and have been featured as part of Mopomoso TV.

WOOLFENDEN are:

Sarah Woolfenden (trumpet & electronics)
Justin Harries (electronics)

Navigator are a new trio from Norwich exploring a live sampling environment instigated by guitarist and electronics musician Mark Howe (The Neutrinos), with trumpeter Chris Dowding (Rude 2.0) and double bassist Dave Pullin (Red Shadow Quartet). They have made two One Month Albums (https://navigator4.bandcamp.com/)and have performed around Norfolk.

Dee Byrne is the London-based saxophonist whose projects include her quintet Entropi, and the new sextet Outlines. She regularly collaborates with saxophonist Cath Roberts with the organisation LUME, promoting new music and releasing albums by their various projects on the Luminous label. Tonight Dee presents her solo project described by Jazzwise as 'eerily ambient yet texturally animated'.
