Peng Femme Jam is a nurturing jam session encouraging women, non-binary, queer and trans musicians to collaborate, play and improvise.
Peng Femme Jam is a regular live music event for musicians and music-lovers, with a focus on women, non-binary, queer and trans creatives expressing themselves. Our events open with a female/non-binary/trans DJ, followed by our femme/nb/trans house band playing a selection of covers and originals. After this, the space is offered up to the wider audience to join; blending musical styles free for all to collaborate. While Peng Femme Jam was created for and is run by women, non-binary, queer and trans people, our events are open to ALL - to ensure we are celebrated, supported, and recognised as musicians equally. PFJ provides both new and established artists an opportunity to develop their creativity in a space free from misogyny & heteronormativity, while functioning as an eclectic and diverse live music evening.
