Saxophonist and composer Emma Rawicz is a rising star on the UK music scene. She brings her band to PizzaExpress on the opening night of the EFG London Jazz Festival, with whom she will be performing a brand new set of her exciting original music. A natural performer with a distinctive sound, Emma’s influences include Chris Potter, John Coltrane and Kurt Rosenwinkel. All deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, Emma’s compositions range from lilting afro-cuban inspired grooves to hard-hitting funk numbers.
