Rising Japanese star, guitarist and songwriter Ichiko Aoba makes atmospheric folk music with intricate arrangements, primarily performed on classical guitar, and lyrics inspired by her dreams.

She has released several studio albums from intimate acoustic folk recordings to the cinematic dream pop of Windswept Adan, where she submerges her music in ambient strings and electronics. 

Her surreal yet simple sound and storytelling is inspired by Studio Ghibli and Disney films.
