US-born, India-raised and London-based tabla player Sarathy Korwar has established himself as one of the most original and compelling voices in the UK jazz scene.

He leads UPAJ Collective, has collaborated with the likes of Shabaka Hutchings, clarinettist Arun Ghosh and producer Hieroglyphic Being, as well as groups Penya and Ill Considered.

Following his critically acclaimed debut album Day To Day and a triple vinyl live album with UPAJ Collective, My East Is Your West, Korwar released his second studio album More Arriving through The Leaf Label, voted MOJO Magazine’s Jazz Album of the year.

We’re excited to announce the special guests invited to explore this genre-busting musical journey; British-Pakistani poet and writer Zia Ahmed, pianist Al MacSween (Kefaya), producer and synth player Danalogue (Comet Is Coming), Melt Yourself Down vocalist Kushal Gaya, trombonist Rosie Turton (Nérija), saxophonist Christopher Williams (Let Spin), multi-instrumentalist Idris Rahman (Ill Considered), and innovative South African cellist Abel Selaocoe.
