Georgie Rogers is an established music broadcaster, journalist, tastemaker and DJ from London who will be spinning some tunes ahead of Tune-Yards' show at the Royal Festival Hall.

She cut her teeth in broadcast journalism at BBC Radio 6 Music where she worked for 16 years as a key personality on its flagship breakfast and afternoon shows interviewing some of the biggest names in music. 

Alongside the BBC Georgie has coming up for two decades of air miles as a specialist presenter championing alternative, electronic, jazz and experimental music as a DJ, tastemaker and curator on XFM, Virgin Radio, her Music Discovery and Indie Spirit shows on Soho Radio while also contributing to Apple Music, Netflix documentaries and major TV news networks. 

On the decks Georgie is an intuitive and versatile DJ. Her credits include spinning tunes for a host of major brands at venues far and wide from the V&A Museum to Glastonbury's Shangri La, on top of a mountain in Bulgaria to playing a stage in the middle of a lake at Secret Garden Party and from inside the disco ship at End of the Road.
