The Arts Validation Network, (c) is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes musicians, performers and visual artists and their work by providing them with platforms for performances, community education and validation. This work also nourishes the audiences and students of these arts.

TAVN broadcasts two streaming radio stations--TAVN Jazz and TAVN Free-Form.

TAVN believes that people are looking for something beyond the predictable models that define contemporary radio. Our two stations present artists and programs in the spirit of risk-taking. Our on-air hosts and performers have abundant artistic freedom, not restrained by national trends and ‘targets’ to hit. Our target is to be driven by the music community and to connect the artists and the audience together: the essence of validation.

TAVN founder Janine Santana is a conguera, a stage actor, and a radio host. Based in Colorado, USA, Janine has a performing artist’s perspective and a deep understanding of jazz music’s important presence in the continuing development of world music. Together with a passionate board of directors from several US cities, she has created a vision of accessible artistic presentation for the international audience.
