Prolific and versatile saxophonist and composer, Trish Clowes will be performing at The Purcell Room following the release of her album A View with a Room. The album was released on Greenleaf Music and has been described as ‘a rich mix of cinematic landscape evocation, funky guitar grooves, dreamy reveries spun off minimalist patterns and fluently uncliched improv’.

She will be performing with her ever-impressive quartet My Iris (in lasting tribute to Clowes’ grandmother) with Chris Montague (guitar), Ross Stanley (piano/Hammond organ) and James Maddren (drums). For this performance, the band will also be joined by two special guests, improvisational vocalist Lauren Kinsella and cellist Louise McMonagle.
