Presented by the Estonian Embassy of London, the Tõnu Tubli Trio fuses jazz, hip-hop, dub, and more in spontaneous, unrepeatable performances. With Tõnu, Marvin, and Indrek creating music in the moment, expect a night of pure improvisation, energy, and connection.

The Tõnu Tubli Trio takes audiences on a fresh and unpredictable musical journey built on improvisation. Blending jazz, hip-hop, dub, and other influences, the group creates music in the moment, with each performance shaped by the energy of the room. No two shows are ever the same.

The trio features drummer and producer Tõnu Tubli, pianist Marvin Mitt, and bassist Indrek Mällo. Long-time friends and collaborators, they share an instinctive musical connection that allows them to take risks on stage, moving seamlessly between grooves, textures, and styles. Their playing is spontaneous and playful, but always grounded in deep listening and trust.

Rather than working from fixed compositions, the trio lets ideas evolve naturally, building pieces out of interaction and response. One performance might lean towards driving hip-hop rhythms, another towards expansive dub atmospheres or open jazz improvisations. This openness keeps the music alive, immediate, and impossible to repeat.

Presented by the Estonian Embassy of London, the Tõnu Tubli Trio offers an evening of genuine creativity and connection. For audiences, it’s not just a concert but the chance to experience music being created right in front of them, with all the excitement and unpredictability that true improvisation brings.
