Toby Yapp ,Robert Dimbleby and Sam Nicholls come to Morocco Bound on Tuesday the 18th of November for the EFG London Jazz Festival 2025!
Dimbleby, Nicholls & Yapp play Wynton Kelly
Pianist Robert Dimbleby, drummer Sam Nicholls and bassist Toby Yapp came together through a shared love of bluesy, swinging, hard bop. What began as informal sessions learning, by ear, the music of Art Blakey, Bobby Timmons and Wynton Kelly, soon grew into a distinctive trio sound - with the group producing new and exciting arrangements of classic standards. Their regular slot at The Albany in Deptford has honed their deep musical connection — now they bring it to the EFG London Jazz Festival to celebrate one of their biggest influences.
