Experience the 5th edition of Love is Everywhere at GROW, a vibrant jazz dancefloor party with DJ sets from Tina Edwards and Jazzy Sport London, plus a free dance lesson by Masumi Endo.
On Saturday, November 23rd, Tina Edwards' jazz dancefloor party, Love is Everywhere, returns to GROW Hackney for its fifth edition. This event celebrates classic jazz parties like Shiftless Shuffle and Dingwalls, but with a modern twist. Expect a dynamic mix of jazz dancefloor beats, global grooves, Latin rhythms, jazz house, and broken beat.
Headlining the night is Jazzy Sport London, a collective inspired by Tokyo’s jazz scene, now bringing their unique sound to the UK. Originally founded in Japan in 2003, Jazzy Sport has grown from a record store into a cultural hub, and now its London chapter is set to make waves with an innovative approach to jazz on the dancefloor.
The night kicks off with a free UK jazz dance lesson by Masumi Endo from 7-8 PM, perfect for beginners and seasoned dancers alike. Masumi, a renowned dancer and choreographer from Japan, has been teaching and performing regularly in London since her move in 2023.
Tina Edwards will set the tone with a warm-up DJ set from 7-10 PM, followed by Jazzy Sport London from 10 PM to 12:30 AM. Tina returns to close out the night from 12:30 to 2 AM. At 9 PM, catch a special performance by Masumi Endo and the Foot Notes dance community.
