The Scorpios return to the Jazz Cafe with an electrifying night of funk and soul-infused afrobeat.

The Sudanese-London collective, The Scorpios return to the Jazz Cafe to launch their anticipated new album ‘Let’s Go’. Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, The Scorpios’ revamped sound combines soul, afrobeat and psychedelica that drive through the rich sounds of traditional Sudanese forms. Blending Arabic rhythms and guitar with raw Eastern funk and Western jazz, the 10-piece collective is supported by an international backing band, heavy bass, synths, horns and percussion create a sound that owes as much to Detroit as it does to Khartoum.
