Australian born harpist and vocalist Tara Minton makes her debut performance at Off The Rails, Richmond.

Tara Minton is one of the tiny handful of harpists to make an impression on the UK jazz scene in recent years, with influences from Monk to Norma Winstone inspiring a rich melodic and harmonic language steeped in the jazz tradition. Tara is endorsed by Camac Harps and holds a masters degree of jazz performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her latest album "Please Do Not Ignore The Mermaid" is an impressionistic dive deep into mer-myth, womanhood and climate change, released on Lateralize Records.

Joined by Phil Merriman, Ed Babar, David Ingamells, the band will present music from Tara's latest record as well as works by John Taylor, Kenny Wheeler, Dave Holland and more.
