SUPERORGANIC is a musical experience that mixes hip hop’s ‘golden era’ of jazz and soul-infused beats with live music, lyrical vibes and spoken word.

Curator, producer and host Fusion and DJs Porge and Budda Q have grown a spirited community of musicians, MCs and poets ready to take audiences on a musical odyssey exploring new music, moments of improv, free-flowing lyricism and reworked classics by the likes of Dilla, Kendrick Lamar, Bobby Caldwell and Sylvia Striplin.

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary, SUPERORGANIC returns to the EFG London Jazz Festival with a live mixtape experience that immerses audiences in a world of high vibration music, reimagined anthems and special blends from our inaugural SUPERORGANIC studio jam. Evoking the vibes on the night will be some of our collective’s shining lights including:

  • BREIS - A witty lyricist with plenty of substance, this dynamic rap artist of Nigerian heritage based in South London fuses hip hop, jazz and Afrobeat rhythms like no other
  • Jonathan Eser - a multi-instrumentalist, composer and long-standing brass player for celebrated Afro-Jazz collective Nubiyan Twist, Jonathan Eser is the creative force behind MATTERS UNKNOWN. Expect a sprinkle of Afro-jazz, celestial blues, soulful funk, electronica and hip hop magic.
  • Ay Hearts - a gifted educator and poet, Ay Hearts combines spoken word alchemy with hip hop sensibilities to light up live shows with an undeniable righteous fire.
  • BR!DGE - A seasoned live performer, producer and a wordsmith, BR!DGE blends singing with a rap delivery and live band energy to conjure an alt-dancehall world that nods to tradition while leaping into its future.
  • Eboni - raised on Antia Baker, Jill Scott and Aaliyah, the east London songstress draws on a rich musical heritage to craft her inner-city soul. Armed with a tender falsetto and an insightful pen, Eboni navigates the complexities of modern life and relationships with a confidence that belies her years.

All attendees will be gifted a limited-edition SUPERORGANIC mixtape cassette on the night - so secure your ticket now.

SUPERORGANIC collaborators to date include Camilla George, Big Scoop, Marcus Joseph, Funky DL, Ladies of Midnight Blue and tyroneisaacstuart
