Led by drummer and arranger, Taylor, this ace band has collaborated with Mica Paris, Omar and Ian Shaw - and in its augmented line-up, Big Band Explosion, was the first to tribute the legendary Buddy Rich at Ronnie Scott’s. The prodigiously gifted singer-songwriter and virtuoso guitarist, Rosie Frater-Taylor, also guests in this special show.

Particularly known for his work in Jazz, Funk-Fusion & World music. 

Steve performs & collaborates with top artists, notably sharing the stage & airwaves with the likes of music producer/artist Nitin Sawhney, UK soul stars Mica Paris & Omar, Jazz vocalists Claire Martin obe, Ian Shaw , Broadcaster Clare Teal and BBC Radio London's Jumoke Fashola, 'Jazz Verse Jukebox' residency at Ronnie Scott's plus the exhilarating 16 piece Steve Taylor Big Band Explosion, as heard at London's legendary Soho club.

Steve currently records & performs with mega-talented singer-songwriter-guitarist & daughter Rosie Frater-Taylor, promoting her new album 'Bloom' voted Jazz FM album of the week, Jazzwise Album of the year and Don Was, legendary US recored producer (& president of Blue Note records USA) best album out now, garnering over 350k streams, with sessions for Jamie Cullum, Giles Peterson \(Worldwide fm), Jazz Re-Freshed & Jazz FM
