Following a remarkable sold-out UK debut at Brilliant Corners, we are delighted to announce Sélène Saint-Aimé Trio will be performing at Kings Place as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
The double bassist, singer and poet of Martinican and West African descent released her first album Mare Undarum to critical acclaim in 2020, navigating a unique path between contemporary jazz, Afro Caribbean rhythms and modern classical music. Her latest album Potomitan, was released in February 2022 to widespread critical acclaim. Sélène on double bass and vocals will perform alongside Irving Acao on tenor sax and Boris Reine-Adélaïde on bèlè drum.
