The Jazz Jam brings together instrumentalists, singers and rappers to improvise together or perform classic tunes. The jam is open to all skill levels to come play with our house band, made of some of the UK’s top session musicians.

The Jazz Jam is centered around jazz, soul, RnB, hip-hop and funk but open to any good music fusing our genres together in a celebration of all music has to offer. The House Band is made of some of the UK’s best session musicians and led by Sahil Batra (Sam Ryder, Sister Sledge, Jessie J). Hosted in the Music Box, in Southwark, the jam is the perfect opportunity to meet like minded musicians and creatives, perform together, or even just attend a night of top-tier musicianship without the usual limitations of a show. The Jazz Jam is hosted in a circle, with the audience literally part of the band and encouraged to take part, either by joining on an instrument, playing some percussion and adding tasteful BVs. You will have the opportunity to walk around the band, sit behind the instrument of your choice and roam around the Music Box venue to experience music as you’ve never seen before.
