Originally from Oxfordshire, Phoebe Rea is a singer-songwriter, pianist and keys player whose music blends nu-jazz, alternative and art-pop into a sound that is both sophisticated and emotionally raw. Classically trained in piano and violin, she honed her craft at the BRIT School before studying Popular Music at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she became immersed in London's vibrant jazz scene and found the collaborative community that continues to shape her music today.

Phoebe creates songs that pair rich, groove-led arrangements with candid lyricism, exploring themes of identity, perfectionism, self-worth and growth. Her debut EP, Anybody Else?, released in April 2026, showcases her distinctive fusion of live musicianship, alt-pop songwriting and nu-jazz influences, and captures both vulnerability and confidence in equal measure.

A compelling live performer, Phoebe has appeared at renowned venues including Upstairs at Ronnie Scott's and Pizza Express Live, as well as festivals such as Truck Festival 2025, earning a reputation for captivating performances that effortlessly blur the lines between jazz, pop and alternative music. With an unmistakable artistic voice and a fearless approach to songwriting, Phoebe Rea is quickly establishing herself as one of the UK's most exciting emerging artists.

Support comes from Jem Wax, a London-based independent artist and producer blending soul, jazz and pop into a sound that's bold, warm and distinctly her own. Her EP Annual Leave
landed a Spotify editorial placement on Our Generation, with focus track "In My Corner" named Kevin Marston's Record of the Day. Now fully self-produced, she's released "Brother" and "Yoga Mat", with a new EP on the horizon. After selling out Pizza Express Live (The Pheasantry) in 2025, she stepped up in 2026 to headline The Jago, curating a female-fronted lineup of ones to watch in the UK's emerging music scene.
