Celebrating the Jazz Clubs
For this year’s EFG London Jazz Festival, NYJO invited Axel Kaner-Lidstrom, founder and MD of Levitation Orchestra, to work with NYJO musicians to create a set of high-energy original music, inspired by the collective’s unique egalitarian approach to music making and dynamic live shows.
Experience the future of UK jazz with NYJO! Formerly known as the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, NYJO exists to nurture and inspire the next generation of jazz musicians. Always keeping collaboration and community at its heart, NYJO provides opportunities for young musicians aged 18-25 to experiment creatively and develop the skills needed for a successful career.
