Senegal born, US raised Nouria Bah makes her EFG London Jazz Festival debut at The Bloomsbury Club presenting her original trio
Nouria Bah combines her love of close harmonies, silly puns and catchy basslines to create bricolage-like grooves. With roots in Senegal/Guinea, Nouria grew up in the US before moving to London in 2011.
Nouria has performed at award-winning festivals iand her debut EP Don B4 was released, October 11th 2024 on Peach Records and received received widespread acclaim, including a spot on Bandcamp’s New & Notable list, airplay from Tony Minvielle, China Moses, and YolanDa Brown on Jazz FM, and a creative grant from The White Pube who described it as:“… like listening to two hands holding each other, tender, loving, careful, overlapped.”
At The Bloomsbury Club she will be presenting an intimate set of her music in an acoustic trio setting.
