Celebrating the Jazz Clubs
NMC Recordings CD launch, celebrating 10 years, and 120 gigs, at Club Inégales with guests+resident band tracks from across the whole time.
For ten years from 2011, Club Inégales at Euston, directed by Peter Wiegold, hosted guests from right across world genres, who showed their work, then played spontaneously with resident band Notes Inégales.
Tonight, the club launch a NMC Recordings CD with tracks from across the whole period, guest artists to be announced. Notes Inégales will be there, and are inviting some of those guests to join again.
Guests have included, Byron Wallen, Lionel Loueke, Seb Rochford, Alice Zawadzki, Leveret, Chris Wood, Sam Lee, Sura Susso, Raymond MacDonald, Rob Luft, Orphy Robinson, Aidan O’Rourke, Maya Youssef, Cactus Truck, Evan Parker, Matthew Bourne, Martynas Levickis, Kuljit Bhamra, Howard Skempton, Jodi Hiroto, Horomona Horo, Hyelim Kim, Shri Sriram, Abbas Kosimov, (Uzbekistan), Drubha Ghosh (India), MAKAN (Egypt), Gazelle Twin, Murray Lachlan Young, Zena Edwards, John Hegley, Will Self, Benjamin Zephaniah, Ria Lina, the Australian Art Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment!
