Nikki Yeoh’s Infinitum is a long-standing jazz trio project featuring Yeoh on piano alongside brothers Michael (bass) and Mark Mondesir (drums). Known for its close, intuitive interplay, the group navigates swiftly shifting grooves, jazz improvisation, and genre-bending explorations incorporating classical and electronica influences. The chemistry within Infinitum is so profound that Yeoh likens it to “more of a marriage than a date,” built on years of musical trust and spontaneous responsiveness. As mentors, they brought their boundary-pushing sound to the BBC Young Jazz Musician finals in 2020 and 2022, inspiring the next generation of UK jazz artists. This special appearance at the EFG London Jazz Festival promises to be a night of fire.

"Yeoh zigzagged drumlike phrases across the Mondesirs’ crackling hip-hop figures, mixed waltzes and funk, fed provocative Herbie Hancock-like improv lines to her responsive partners, and delighted the crowd with her playfulness on Dance of the Two Small Bears." - John Fordham, The Guardian
