Nick Pini Quartet brings a stellar lineup to STEREO for the jazz festival, featuring Josh Arcoleo, Elliott Galvin, and Jeremy Stacey. Expect world-class musicianship, rich improvisation, and a night that captures the true spirit of contemporary jazz in the heart of Covent Garden.
A first collaboration for a new quartet, put together by veteran of the UK music scene, bass player Nick Pini. All four are comfortable in a hugely diverse range of settings, (from their own projects to Sir Tom Jones or Jordan Rakei) and strong improvisers and composers, this band should be one to keep an eye on in the future. Bandleader Nick Pini, one of the most in-demand bassists in the scene, is joined by saxophonist Josh Arcoleo, whose lyrical tone and fiery improvisations have made him a leading voice in contemporary jazz. Pianist Elliott Galvin brings his trademark creativity and adventurous spirit, blending tradition with bold innovation. Completing the lineup is the world-class Jeremy Stacey, a drummer renowned for his versatility and groove, from jazz to rock’s biggest stages. Together, they promise an electrifying night of rich interplay, deep rhythms, and spontaneous brilliance in the heart of Covent Garden.
