Women in Jazz Media presents NICHOLA POPE with her premiere performance of “Herstory”.

Internationally sought after saxophonist Nichola Pope and her band bring Herstory to the stage for the first time. A compelling live performance featuring original compositions that chronicle the defining chapters of her life. From her formative years in the Middle East to the pivotal moments that have shaped her journey, Herstory offers a deeply personal and emotionally resonant experience through music. A truly special event that is not to be missed!

Nichola tours internationally, playing and recording as a sought-after session musician and has appeared at major UK festivals including Glastonbury, BST Hyde Park, Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude, and prestigious venues such as Royal Festival Hall and The O2 along with renowned jazz venues including Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club, the Jazz Cafe, and the Vortex Jazz Club. Her multifaceted career has earned her a reputation as one of the UK’s leading saxophonists, equally comfortable on stage in front of thousands or in an intimate jazz club.

About Nichola

She has spent years touring in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and has appeared at major UK festivals including North Sea Jazz Festival , Glastonbury, BST Hyde Park, Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude, Boomtown, and Bestival with Bombay Bicycle Club and London Afrobeat Collective.  Nichola has performed at packed arenas, concert halls and theatres such as The O2, ExCeL London, Royal Festival Hall, Brixton Academy; and in London’s West End touring shows.
