A true virtuoso of his instrument, Virginia-born Nate Smith is one of modern music’s most revered jazz drummers. Having achieved three Grammy nominations for his solo track 'Home Free (For Peter Joe)', building his own acclaimed solo canon whilst working alongside the likes of Brittany Howard and Michael Jackson, for whom he co-wrote 2001’s ‘Heaven Can Wait’, Smith is a generational talent with the back catalogue and the live prowess to prove it.
