Established, award-winning composer, Jazz and World singer-songwriter Martha D Lewis presents a rare intimate performance of her acclaimed 2022 release 'All That You See' accompanied by Luke Bacchus.

The ability of an artist to reinvent themselves and evolve is often a keynote for a long and successful career. Martha D. Lewis has such an ability.

In a career spanning over 4 decades which began as trailblazing music-comedy duo with Eve Polycarpou as ‘Donna and Kebab’ (Live at the Hackney Empire DVD) and led to several Inter/National tours and TV Radio appearances and three albums as popular song writing duo ‘Martha and Eve’.

Martha’s vast and varied musical journey since mid 1990’s tincluded world jazz compositions, theatre music, film and documentary music and included Martha’s debut solo release of jazz-world music ‘Café Aman-Double Life’ which was awarded ‘Best Album of the Year’ by BBC Radio in 2007, with tracks featured on ‘Best Of European Jazz Compilation CD’ in 2010.

Following Martha’s appearance as presenter and singer in the feature film documentary - about the life and music of Roza Eskenazy, the first lady Of the eastern meditterranean blues - Martha released an album of brave re-imaginings of classic urban Greek blues ‘Homage to Roza’,(2015) featuring legendary drummer Jack De Johnette.

'All That You See' (2022) is Martha D. Lewis’s sixth and boldest album to date and marks a new dawn. In this album of Indie Jazz-infused songs , there is a sense that you are in the hands of a masterful songwriter, one who can just as easily converse with emotional pain and then equally comfortably, take strides of angst at the world around us. To create a dynamic new direction for this collection of songs, Martha gathered high-class musicians for the project at Real World Studios. This included drummer Ian Matthews (Kasabian), Producer Nick Cohen (Massive Attack, Annie Lennox)and renowned innovative producer and sound engineer, Stephen W Tayler. From decades of experience of working with the greats such as Kate Bush, Phil Collins, Stevie Nicks and Peter Gabriel, Stephen W. Tayler has sprinkled stardust onto the mixes of Martha’s songs.
