Berlin’s powerhouse drummer and producer Magro returns to London for a night of soulful grooves and genre-bending energy at Grow. Joining him is the inimitable Sedric Perry, a Philadelphia-born, London-based vocalist whose voice moves between gospel fire, jazz finesse and contemporary R&B gloss. Together, they create a live experience that fuses jazz, R&B, hip hop and future beats — explosive rhythms paired with velvet-smooth, emotionally charged vocals.

Magro has made his mark on Europe’s jazz and beat scenes, performing with his trio — Francesco Beccaro (bass) and Martin Lüdicke (keys) — and guest rapper Rapturous at renowned stages including Ronnie Scott’s, Bimhuis, Jazzahead and Jazz in the Park. He has collaborated with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Wayne Snow and Nightmares on Wax, earned the German Jazz Prize, and his third album featuring Telemakus and Tom Ford is set for release this November.

Sedric Perry brings unstoppable charisma, championing queer joy and BIPOC representation through his artistry. Featured in Billboard, Gay Times and HBO’s We’re Here, his songwriting has achieved Gold status in two countries. Whether delivering a soaring ballad or locking into a groove, Sedric’s performances radiate authenticity and soul.

South London DJ and producer Footshooter closes the night with jazz-influenced, soulful club cuts. With releases on Rhythm Section International, BBC 6 Music support from Gilles Peterson, and a critically acclaimed 2025 LP The Oasis, his sets glide from house to broken beat, keeping the dancefloor alive until 2am.
