Pianist and Dankworth prize-winning composer Lior Solomons-Wise brings his quartet to the Guildhall Jazz festival for an afternoon of captivating original music. Born and raised in London, many of Lior’s compositions take inspiration from the wilder parts of the UK, in particular the mountainous regions, weaving simple and beautiful melodies through enchanting harmonic explorations. A recent graduate from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, performing highlights include EFG London Jazz Festival appearances, Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 club, Pizza Express Soho and the Vortex Jazz Club.
