As part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, Fulham Pier is delighted to welcome award-winning vocalist Judi Jackson for an unforgettable evening celebrating one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz.

A Jazz FM Vocalist of the Year winner, Judi Jackson is renowned for her powerful vocals, emotional storytelling and captivating live performances. Drawing inspiration from some of the greatest voices in music history, including Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Bessie Smith and Dinah Washington, Judi brings a unique blend of soul, jazz and contemporary influences to every performance.

Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Judi grew up singing in church and playing piano, developing a deep connection to music from an early age. Her exceptional talent was recognised early in her career when she opened for Mavis Staples at just 16, before later featuring on Snarky Puppy’s Grammy Award-winning album *Family Dinner: Volume One*.

Now based in London, Judi has become one of the most exciting and compelling voices on the UK jazz scene. She has performed at the Southbank Centre as part of the London Jazz Festival, Chaka Khan’s Meltdown Festival, appeared on *Later... with Jools Holland* and delivered a series of sold-out performances at Ronnie Scott’s.
