Back for another year, Jazz In The Round is looking forward to presenting a week-long programme of events at The Cockpit for the EFG London Jazz Festival 2023. From our on-your-feet Emergence gigs, to our annual stages at Love Supreme, to our flagship monthly jazz nights in London, Jazz In The Round continues to be at the forefront of new sounds.

Elliot Galvin is an award-winning composer, pianist, and improvisor based in London. He has worked with Marius Neset, Mark Lockheart, Emma-Jean Thackray, Binker Golding, Laura Jurd and the Mercury Nominated band Dinosaur. With his own projects he’s been named European young jazz musician of the year, albums of the year in Downbeat, Jazzwise and BBC Music Magazine, with the Guardian Calling him “A virtuosic risk-embracing one-off”.

This will be the premier performance of an all-star new project, featuring Elliot on piano and electronics, Ruth Goller on bass and voice, Seb Rochford on drums and Mandhira De Saram on violin. They recorded an album earlier this year featuring special guests the Ligeti Quartet and Shabaka Hutchings, which is due for release next year.
