Back for another year, Jazz In The Round is looking forward to presenting a week-long programme of events at The Cockpit for the EFG London Jazz Festival 2023. From our on-your-feet Emergence gigs, to our annual stages at Love Supreme, to our flagship monthly jazz nights in London, Jazz In The Round continues to be at the forefront of new sounds. And for the first time, as part of EFG London Jazz Festival, Jazz In The Round Midnight on Saturday 18 November.

Urvashi is a new London-based collective, formed in January 2023. Inspired by the band's shared interest in traditional and modern musical cultures, drawing equally from Qwali, Arabic Tarab, modal jazz and drum and bass, to create original tracks alongside fresh interpretations. Urvashi unites these disparate musical influences coupled with extensive improvisation to create transiently unique live shows. Urvashi's highly anticipated debut EP will be launched on the 18th November with a midnight standing concert at The Cockpit theatre as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
