Jay Prince is a rapper, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter & producer who began rising in popularity after his highly acclaimed mixtape, Be For Our Time. His music is often comprised of jazz and a combination of soulful elements providing a canvas for his poetry and lyricism.

Born in East London to both Angolan & Congolese parents, Prince grew up exposed to many styles & genres of music, playing piano, bass & guitar. His influences stretch from hip-hop, soul, R&B, rumba, and jazz.

His diversity in how he combines genres has allowed him to collaborate with a range of artists around the world, including Yussef Dayes, Mahalia, Kojey Radical, Tyler The Creator, Mura Masa, Gold Link, Paul Epworth, Jay Electronica, SiR, Aminé, Mr. Hudson & Estelle - to name just a few.
