Coming up between Chicago and New York, Jaimie Branch has been an active part of both music scenes for many years but made her name as a bandleader more recently, with her series of Fly or Die albums. The third entry, Fly or Die: LIVE, was brought to the Jazz Cafe stage for EFG London Jazz Festival 2021

Jaimie talks about discovering Miles Davis early on, taking influences from peers and EFG London Jazz Festival 2021 performers like Angel Bat Dawid and Irreversible Entanglements and the importance of live music.
