Formed in 2020, the Ilario Ferrari Trio have quickly become one of the most distinctive voices on the UK and European jazz scene. Their music combines the intimacy of the piano trio tradition with the richness of three vocalists, creating what Jazz Journal described as “one mind in three heads.”
Their debut Childhood Memories (2021) established them as rising stars, with performances at Pizza Express Jazz Club, London Jazz Festival, Jazzahead in Germany, Ecosuoni Festival in Italy, and beyond. Their follow-up Above The Clouds has since received international acclaim and global airplay. With heartfelt compositions, daring improvisations, and electrifying interplay, the trio promise an evening that is powerful, inventive, and deeply moving.
