For the first time in 16 years, acclaimed drummer, pianist and keyboardist Gary Husband returns to the drum chair to lead a brand new project: The Orbital Band.

Featuring guitarist Rocco Zifarelli, keyboardist Tom Cawley and bassist Matthew Garrison, the group performs new and classic compositions by Husband, alongside music by the band members and specially adapted interpretations that reflect his collaborations with artists including Allan Holdsworth, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Billy Cobham and Jeff Beck.

One of the few musicians to have built an international reputation as both a drummer and keyboard player, Husband's career spans jazz, fusion, rock, funk, blues and classical music. Over four decades he has worked with an extraordinary range of artists, including John McLaughlin, Allan Holdsworth, Jeff Beck, Jack Bruce, Billy Cobham, Al Jarreau, Mike Stern, Level 42 and Gary Moore.

Together, the quartet brings decades of experience at the highest level, with credits spanning Herbie Hancock, Peter Gabriel, Chaka Khan, Paul Simon, Billy Cobham and Ennio Morricone. Expect a high-energy evening of virtuosic jazz fusion from four exceptional musicians.
