Juicy Peach Twins is a new exciting project led by UK charismatic vocalists, Camille Rose and Annie Majin.
Still early in her career, Camille Rose is already carving out a distinctive voice on the London jazz scene, one steeped in the phrasing and swing of the great vocal tradition while unmistakably her own. Her sound moves fluidly between the warmth of classic jazz standards and the raw, soulful edge more associated with contemporary vocal music, making for performances that feel both timeless and thoroughly present.
Her mellifluous tones — often described as the lovechild of Ella Fitzgerald and Amy Winehouse — blend classic jazz sensibility with soulful inflection, bridging tradition and modernity with a rare combination of control and freedom.
Rising star Annie Majin is a fresh new talent active on the jazz club circuit who recently made her debut on the West End stage.
Annie Majin is a vocalist and song stylist specialising in straight-ahead jazz. She has performed in various music projects across the UK at venues such as Crazy Coqs, Ladbroke Hall, Jazz Sanctuary, Green Note, and many more.
With uniquely tender vocals, she will be exploring the work of Broadway composers from the 20th century, with an exciting selection of hidden gems from the Great American Songbook and beyond.
Camille and Annie will be joined by Tom Farmer on bass, Luke McCarthy on drums and Zhenya Strigalev on saxophone.
