The Guildhall Jazz Festival in association with the EFG London Jazz Festival features current and past students, Guildhall Jazz teachers and special guests in a celebration of the wealth of creativity and originality within the Guildhall Jazz community.
This brand new ensemble led by jazz drummer/composer Finn Genockey will feature some of the most exciting up-and-coming jazz musicians currently studying at or recent graduates of London conservatoires Guildhall School of Music, Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music. This concert will feature some of the student’s own compositions for jazz orchestra as well as Bob Brookmeyer’s “Get Well Soon” suite alongside guest appearances from key faculty members across the colleges.
