Elaine celebrates the epoch-changing songs of the great Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, featuring the ever-popular saxophone star Alan Barnes, Barry Green (piano), and Dave Green (double bass).
Elaine Delmar, winner of the Parliamentary Jazz Awards Best Singer in 2013 and most recently 20 years on in 2023, has long been established as a singer of the very highest caliber - with the voice, looks and personality that have captivated world-wide audiences.
She’s equally at home, whether entertaining a concert audience, or performing in the more intimate cabaret/small theatre settings. In addition to her many sold-out concerts at Crazy Coqs, her American Song Book presentations sold out at Ronnie Scott’s, the Pheasantry and Piano Smithfield, plus in a spectacular big band show for the London Jazz Festival.
“Somewhere in paradise a cloud is reserved for Elaine Delmar.” - NZ Herald
“One of the ageless, evergreen singing stars that we have... as beautiful and talented as ever... she’s marvellous!” - Sir Michael Parkinson
She returns to the EFG London Jazz Festival, for this double portion of her Musical Feast, across concerts.
