Special Double Bill Featuring Trio Manouche (one of Europe's top Gypsy Jazz & Swing ensembles) & The Capitano Cartel (Old Skool Meets New Wave)

World class Gypsy Jazz ensemble Trio Manouche will kick off the evening with a highly atmospheric mix of swing classics. Featuring band leader Simon Harris on vocals & guitar along with legendary guitarist Giuluo Romano and the Cornish bazz wizard Marcus Penrose, they wil be performing inspired re-worked numbers of the great Gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt together with ambient arrangements of trad greats such as Nat King Cole. The second half of this intriguing double bill introduces the amazing Capitano Cartel (Versione Fantastico), hosted by Capitano himself, Simon Harris, showcasing brand new original compositions pushing beyond the boundaries of jazz, blues, Country & Latin in an exciting blend of novel, fresh musical flavours. With Harris on vocals and trumpet, Giulio Romano on lead guitar, and Marcus Penrose on bass the cartel will also include the godfather of groove, Dave Kelbie on rhythm guitar and the percussive maestro Jack Bebington on drums. The evening will round up with all the musicians performing a grand finale of swing classics performed in their own singular style.
