Celebrating the Jazz Clubs
D.U.N.K is a new fusion collective consisting of some of the top young jazz musicians in London from the LCCM fold and further afield.
D.U.N.K is a new jazz collective consistsing of 4 LCCM members and 3 members from outside LCCM. A number of guests will be joining them for different sections of the show, bringing together a broad range of emerging talent in the scene.
D.U.N.K play modern jazz fusion, usually focused around groove and pocket. Main inspirations being musicians/bands such as Nate Smith (Kinfolk), Jacob Mann, Corto Alto, and Ghost Note. The chemistry and tightness of the band was so highly complimented after their first performance at LCCM that they knew they had to carry on playing together.
A mixture of original songs, covers and reinterpretations will be played.
