Celebrating the Jazz Clubs
The Cable Street Rag Band's Thursday night residency at Jamboree. 1920s and '30s jazz and swing all night long with a jam session to close. The event is legendary amongst London's Swing dancers.
Led by Ewan Bleach who is a clarinettist, saxophonist, pianist and singer specialising in 1920s and 30s jazz and blues, the wonderful Cable Street Rag Band have a large repertoire of rare old songs ranging from the rough raggy blues songs of the 20s to the rich luscious ballads of the early 40s.
