A panel of experts discuss how the early development of the UK jazz sound from the 1960s and early 1970s has gone on to shape British jazz artists of today.

The talk will include Tony Higgins, curator of the British Jazz Explosion Series, delving deep into the important history and the stories behind the recordings followed by a dive into the modern UK jazz scene where you’ll hear about the influence of these albums, as well as other sounds which have developed jazz in Britain today.
