Presented by Bridget Walsh, Songwriters In The Round is a showcase of some of London's finest jazz and jazz-adjacent artists. Playing re-imaginings of each other's songs our interchanging line-up will explore their original music with new voices, ideas and instrumentation.

Isobella Burnham is a London-based, Barbadian-grown bassist, vocalist and composer. She grew up in Barbados where she studied music at the local college. Isobella moved back to London in 2018 and has been a session bassist for Mabel, Tom Misch, Jorja Smith, Steam Down, Sampa The Great and Connie Constance, playing stages across Europe, Africa and Asia. In 2021, she released her solo debut EP Dancin Garuda and has gone on to play Love Supreme, We Out Here, Swanage jazz and a sold-out Ronnie Scott’s.

Sofia Grant is a vocalist, composer and arranger from London. Her record 'Extinction', released in 2023 on the Jazz re:freshed, has received plays on BBC 6 Music, Radio 2, Radio 3 and Jazz FM. Sofia has worked as a session artist for Poppy Ajudha, PYJAEN and Donna Thompson, performing at the BBC Proms, Later… with Jools Holland, Ronnie Scott's and Village Underground. She was active on the improvised music scene in Barcelona for three years before returning to London to launch her project. As the founder of Higher Ground Jam Session, Sofia is interested in creating spaces for improvisation. She works on the intersection between music and climate justice, and how we can use the human voice as an instrument.

Momoko Gill (aka MettaShiba) is a London-based composer/producer/songwriter/vocalist whose primary instruments are drums and voice. She grew up between Japan, the US and UK and has a mixed (Japanese/British/German) heritage. As a musician, Momoko works with some of the most boundary-pushing UK artists including Alabaster DePlume, Matthew Herbert, Coby Sey and Tirzah and is frequently performing in jazz-adjacent, improvisational, conceptual and groove-focused projects. She composes and produces for her duo project with poet/rapper Nadeem Din-Gabisi, An Alien Called Harmony, whose debut EP was released by Total Refreshment Centre and New Soil in May 2024. Momoko plans to release a solo LP in 2025 and collaborative works with Matthew Herbert.

Inês Loubet is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who writes Brazilian-influenced, danceable songs, seamlessly blending improvisation and jazz harmony with captivating melodies and powerful lyrics. From gracing the stage at the BBC Proms to a sold-out Tropicalia show at The Jazz Café, supporting Gilberto Gil at the O2 Shepherds Bush, and sharing the spotlight with João Bosco & Hamilton de Holanda at The Union Chapel, Loubet's talent has garnered widespread recognition. Her projects have received acclaim from influential figures including Gilles Peterson and Mr Bongo, earning her several UK and international tours and appearances on Jazz FM, NTS, Soho Radio, and Radio 3. Loubet's debut album, "SENGA," was released in May 2024 on Albert’s Favourites .

Bridget Walsh is the bandleader of 10:32, a future-soul collective with Lyle Barton and Radovan Brtko. The band debuted at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2018 and have since toured internationally with shows, sessions and broadcasts around the UK, Aotearoa (NZ), Australia and the USA. 10:32 have been funded by public broadcaster, NZ on Air, and have featured on multiple Apple Music playlists including Jazz Scene UK, Aotearoa All Day and New Latitudes. Recent shows include Ronnie Scott’s, Electric Brixton, NZ’s National Jazz Festival, Love Supreme's Supreme Standards and a sold-out show at PizzaExpress Live. Performing 10:32 tunes with the vulnerability of a solo artist, Bridget is a whimsical vocalist and keys player originally from Aotearoa, who's been touring with UK bands since 2013. With an extensive résumé including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Latitude and the Edinburgh Fringe, Bridget is currently studying towards her Masters in Jazz Performance at Guildhall.
