“birty” is the alias of London based saxophonist, DJ and producer Hannah-Mae Birtwell — known for her work with Nubiyan Twist, TC & The Groove Family and Dargz.

After immersing herself in Leeds’ underground electronic scene while studying Jazz in the city, Hannah developed a deep love for the intersection between live performance and electronic music. Now based in London, birty continues to explore this musical space, drawing from her jazz background to bring spontaneity and warmth to the dancefloor and her productions. She also DJs regularly for TC & The Groove Family’s monthly show on Soho Radio, showcasing the vibrant crossover between jazz, global rhythms and electronic music.

For this set, she'll also be joined by TC & the Groove Family bandmate and fellow Soho Radio show host Max Purcell-Burrows.
