Recognised as one of the most distinctive, creative and talented musicians in Europe his music is inspired by global sounds combining jazz with electronica, ambient and contemporary music to create memorable melodies, head-nodding grooves and space for all four members of the band to improvise, explore and be featured. Meadows is a prolific composer, conductor and arranger with credits including the multi-grammy award winning Metropole Orkest, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia and his own Parliamentary Jazz Award winning Engines Orchestra. He holds a long-standing monthly residency at Ronnie Scott’s showcasing the best in upcoming UK jazz talent and has toured Europe both with his own music and with electronic music pioneer Matthew Herbert. He’s also collaborated with Ingrid Jensen, Phronesis, Femi Temowo and Belle Chen.
