Andrea Motis is a Spanish jazz singer, trumpet and saxophone player who sings in Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and English. Andrea will be performing with her jazz trio, presenting original compositions, standards and some of her favorite songs and standards.
Andrea Motis is a Spanish jazz singer and trumpet player. At the age of fifteen, she recorded her debut album Joan Chamorro Presents Andrea Motis. She made her major label debut with the worldwide release of Emotional Dance (Impulse), followed by Do outro lado do azul (Verve). Colors and shadows, Andrea’s album with WDR Big Band, was released in 2021 (Jazzline). Loopholes, her new record, was released worldwide in the spring of 2022.
Andrea has collaborated with renowned artists such as Quincy Jones, Yo-Yo Ma, Omara Portuondo, Milton Nascimento, Gil Goldstein and Scott Hamilton among others.
