Three musically-incisive minds, guitarist David Preston, electric bassist Kevin Glasgow and drummer Laurie Lowe, perform exclusive CV2020 lockdown-inspired material and draw from their previous albums ‘Something About Rainbows’ and their eponymous debut on Whirlwind Recordings.
Writing and performing together since 2012, London-based David Preston (guitar), Kevin Glasgow (electric bass) and Laurie Lowe (drums) have steadily honed their own unique style of complex rhythms, lyrical melodies and virtuosic improvisations. The project’s creative and developmental processes open up a panoply of textures and colours – from open, contemplative utopias, to heavyweight, blistering maelstrom – yet it all emanates from this close collaboration of just three musically-incisive minds.
Melding the ethos of jazz-rock fusion with enthusiastic invention, this is a trio whose combined experience and prowess is distilled into an intuitive and invigorating program, fine-tuned from their numerous touring dates and live sessions. Their two album releases have drawn rave reviews from international & UK press and has drawn praise from notable musicians, Henrik Linder of Dirty Loops, Kurt Rosenwinkel & Dave Sanborn.
They will be performing exclusive CV2020 lockdown-inspired material and drawing from their previous 2 albums ‘Something About Rainbows’ and their eponymous debut on Whirlwind Recordings.
