MO FOSTER and FRIENDS features six virtuoso musicians. Foster and Russell were both members of Gil Evans’s British orchestra - ever since that time it has been Mo Foster’s ambition to 'miniaturise' some of his brilliant scores. After a few successful shows it was a natural follow up to tackle the arrangements of other major writers. With CVs from Jeff Beck and Sting to Yazz Ahmed and Hans Zimmer, George Russell and Loose Tubes to Richard Bona and Lalo Schifrin the collective experience of the musicians in this band is truly amazing.
