Luna Cohen
is a singer from Belo Horizonte in Brazil. Her music represents and reflects a rich diversity of Brazilian culture, in which tropical colours, joy and passion combine to produce an unforgettable musical experience.

Luna Cohen has recorded an impressive 4 albums under her name for the well-respected Catalan label Temps Records. She settled in Barcelona in the early 2000's and over the following 10 years went on to establish herself as a Brazilian singer of considerable note within the Spanish musical community. Looking to broaden her artistic horizons she relocated to London in 2014 and has since found herself in high demand.

Her smooth but powerful vocals have been heard in a variety of high profile venues both in London (The Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott’s, The 606 club and PizzaExpress, Dean Street) and in Barcelona (Jamboree, and Nova Jazz Cava). She has also appeared at a number of major international festivals (the EFG London Jazz Festival and the Canary Wharf Jazz Festival in London, and the Mas i Mas Festival and Terrassa Jazz Festival in Spain).

Luna’s band features a brilliant Anglo-Brazilian combination from the finest exponents of Brazilian musicin the UK. The quintet’s musical repertoire combines original songs by Luna Cohen with covers from masters of Brazilianmusic.


In 2012, Luna released her first album "Estrada do Sol”. The following year she won the Enderrock Award for Best New Release in the Jazz category and started performing in some of the most respected jazz clubs and festivals in Spain.

In London, she met the award-winning British guitarist Rob Luft, and a new musical partnership was born. Their partnership formed the basis of Luna´s 4th CD, "November Sky", which was released by Temps Record and launched in 2016 at Mas i Mas Festival in Barcelona. In 2017 it was nominated for the Best Album Award at the MIN - Independent Music Prize in Spain and also for the Enderrock Award in Catalonia.

Luna instantly captures audiences with her sultry vocals and charismatic stage presence. Each song tells apersonal story, leaving the listener with a glimpse into her enchantingworld.

Thomas Seminar Ford
is a guitarist hailing from Birmingham. After spending his teens playing around the UK he moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music where he  majored in Jazz Composition and Performance.

In the Jazz and Latin world Thomas is busy as a sideman appearing on releases by Reuben James, Judi Jackson, Sam Watts, The Jonathan Silk Big Band, Chris Young’s Orbits and Mike Fletchers Jazz Orchestra. whilst performing at world renown UK jazz clubs and festivals.
