JazzWorks: Jazz is for everyone

LONDON Southbank Centre / Level 5 Function Room
Belvedere Road

How far has the industry come in supporting artists of different genders and gender minorities? What barriers still exist for artists who identify as a range of genders to making music, and building a sustainable career? Join a conversation between industry representatives, funders, and musicians on how the current infrastructure is supporting these artists, and where we need to go next.

We have already confirmed the following speakers for the panel:

  • Francesca Treadaway - Senior Communications & Public Affairs Manager, Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM)
  • Maxie Gedge - Project Manager, PRSF Keychange Initiative
  • CN Lester - Musician, Writer & Activist
  • Kate Crudgington & Tash Walker - Founding Editors, Get In Her Ears
  • Liz Exell, Musician (Nérija, WALRUS) & Founder, Jazz Herstory

This is a free event open to all - please register your attendance in advance here.
